We are delighted to welcome Shelley to the Eurogroup team as our new Senior Relocation Consultant! With nearly a decade of experience in relocation sales and a strong background in customer-focused roles, Shelley brings a wealth of expertise, energy, and a genuine passion for people to the business.
In her new role, Shelley will focus on winning new business across both corporate and private relocation sectors, building lasting client relationships, and delivering a seamless experience from first contact through to post-move support.
A People-First Journey Into Relocation
Shelley’s career has always been centred around people. She began in retail, where she developed strong communication and customer service skills, before moving into banking and later HR, gaining valuable experience in professionalism, attention to detail, and people-focused processes.
She then transitioned into logistics and freight, working in fast-paced environments and managing complex operations. Across each of these roles, one thing remained constant: a natural ability to connect with people and understand their needs.
Her move into the relocation industry came almost by chance. “I actually got into sales by default. I originally applied for a move management role, but during the process they saw something in me that I hadn’t fully recognised myself and suggested I move into sales.”
That moment marked the beginning of a successful career in relocation sales, where Shelley has spent the past nine and a half years building relationships, supporting clients through major life changes, and consistently delivering results.
““I actually got into sales by default. I originally applied for a move management role, but during the process they saw something in me that I hadn’t fully recognised myself and suggested I move into sales.”
Joining Eurogroup
Shelley was drawn to Eurogroup not only for its strong reputation within the relocation industry, but for its culture and people.
“From my first interactions, everyone was incredibly welcoming and supportive – it genuinely felt like a close-knit, family-like team.”
In her role, Shelley will be focused on growing accounts, winning new business, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients throughout their relocation journey.
“I’m really looking forward to building strong relationships, working on diverse international moves, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.”
A Global Outlook
While Shelley hasn’t lived abroad, her experience working with international clients and suppliers has given her a strong global perspective.
The international nature of the role continues to be a key motivator:
“I love the variety and the global aspect of the industry. No two moves are the same, and I get to work with people from all walks of life, all over the world.”
It’s this combination of variety, people, and purpose that keeps Shelley passionate about what she does.
“In short – I love talking to people and being a bit nosey! But really, it’s about making a difference during what can be a big and sometimes stressful life change.”
Life Outside The Office
Shelley is originally from Tamworth, Staffordshire, with strong family ties to Sheffield, proudly describing herself as “half Northern lass.”
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. Whether it’s walking her dogs, cooking and entertaining, heading to the theatre, or getting out on the water paddleboarding, she makes the most of her downtime. Family canal boating trips are also a favourite way to relax and reconnect.
Looking Ahead
As she settles into her role, Shelley’s focus for the year ahead is clear:
“To build strong client relationships, close new business opportunities, and continue to grow professionally while delivering exceptional relocation solutions.”
